I'm Rod Atwood — a full-stack web professional who has spent two decades building, optimizing, and securing everything from small business sites to multi-hundred-account hosting environments. I started as a designer and never stopped learning.

Today I'm equally comfortable designing user interfaces, writing Python daemons that monitor network traffic at 3am, or dissecting a site's technical SEO from the crawl budget down to the schema markup. I run Websnoogie LLC out of Omaha, Nebraska, where I build custom websites, manage web hosting, and help businesses own their corner of the internet.

Away from the screen I'm a proud father of 4 kids and grandfather to 10 grandkids — the best and most important work of my life. I worship at Southview Christian Church in Lincoln, Nebraska, where my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is the anchor of everything I do. Two verses I return to again and again: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16) and “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” (Philippians 4:13).

I manage Linux web hosting environments handling hundreds of client accounts — configuring Apache, LiteSpeed, and Nginx, hardening servers with ModSecurity, Cloudflare, Suricata IDS, and custom firewall rules. From bare-metal provisioning to cPanel cluster management, DNS, SSL, and automated monitoring, I keep systems running reliably 24/7. When something breaks at 3am, I've already built the tools to detect it, diagnose it, and fix it before your visitors ever know it happened.

Search Engine Optimization

Search engine optimization isn't a trick — it's earned authority built through technical excellence and relevant content. I've helped businesses across Nebraska and beyond climb from obscurity to page one, combining deep technical SEO audits, schema markup, Core Web Vitals optimization, and locally-targeted content strategies. Python & Bash Programming

I automate everything that can be automated. Python and Bash are my daily tools for building custom infrastructure glue that off-the-shelf software can't provide — network monitoring daemons, API integration scripts, server security automation, log analysis pipelines, database maintenance utilities, and scheduled reporting systems. Whether it's a 10-line Bash cron job that saves an hour every week or a multi-threaded Python daemon managing real-time network traffic analysis, I write clean, documented, production-grade scripts that run reliably in the wild.
